Review Policy

I will gladly accept books for review! I accept ARCs and finished copies. I occasionally read e-books on my computer, but I prefer physical copies.

If you are an author or publisher and would like me to review your book, please e-mail me at lauren.hoeve@hotmail.com. Please keep in mind that I am located in The Netherlands if you want to send me a physical copy.

I do NOT accept self-published books.

The genres I prefer to read and review are anything within the YA genre, really: contemporary/realistic fiction, fantasy, science-fiction, adventure, and dystopia. I also occasionally read adult fiction, and within that, mostly contemporary, science-fiction, and dystopia.
This does not automatically exclude other genres. 

I will provide a 100% honest review, whether positive or negative. If I do not like a book, I will say so, but I will talk about the book and give an explanation as to why I didn’t like it. My reviews will always be respectful and I would never attack an author. 

I post reviews here, as well as on Goodreads and The Book Depository website. I can not guarantee that I review your book (at all or within a certain time period), but I will try my best to keep review books on the top of my To Be Read Pile. I take my synopsis either from Goodreads or the jacket flap/back cover of the book.

If a book is not the start of a series and I don’t own the other ones, I would appreciate if you could provide the previous books. 

I would also be very glad to host giveaways, author interviews or guest posts.
